Brief
Jiga Jiga Paint is the first Supply Nation-registered Indigenous brand created to celebrate First Nations cultures and provide employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Creative Solution
A brand mark was created from a simple black and white illustration, typography was kept bold, and an easily distinguishable colour palette develop. The use of the Jiga Jiga (Willie Wagtail in the Bidjara language), honours the bird’s symbolic role as a messenger in Aboriginal culture.

Text was minimised, focusing on bold a set of intuitive icons. Careful consideration was given to avoiding cultural appropriation, ensuring the brand remained respectful and had room for growth.
